National Conference Friday said that the proponents of BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) and RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh (RSS) agenda in Kashmir stood exposed after they started to normalise the measures taken by New Delhi unilaterally and unconstitutionally.

In a statement issued here, NC spokesman Imran Nabi Dar said these serial turncoats and opportunists would meet their end as was met by their prototypes post 1953.

"They are in a gambit of normalising the spiteful measures committed by the ruling BJP," he said criticizing the "Machiavellian brand of politics" played by Apni Party.

"This party has no agenda; the only endeavor of this throng of strange bedfellows is to normalise the constitutional coup that was orchestrated by their masters on 5 August 2019. Ever since Apni Party has surfaced on the political scene of Kashmir, we have only been hearing that they will fight for the rights of the people but so far they have done nothing," Dar said.

He said soon after J&K was "dismembered, downgraded and shorn of its constitutional status", Apni Party went to knock the doors of RSS, and BJP.

"At a time when the people of Kashmir were reeling under unprecedented clampdown trying to come to terms with what had been done to them, they hunkered before their masters and asked people to accept the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A as a new reality," Dar said.
