Clashes erupted at Murran Chowk in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Monday after youth staged a massive protest against the killings of two youth by army in neighbouring Shopian district on Saturday.
An eye witness said that youth staged protest against the killings of Javed Ahmad Bhat and Suhail Javed Lone in army firing in Ganowpora village of Shopian.
He said that youth pelted the forces with stones. The forces responded by firing tear gas to chase them away.
The clashes were going on in the area when last reports came.
