Scores of people from Baramulla village on Monday protested against Public Health Engineering (PHE) for failing to provide regular water supply to them.
The protestors including women from Shangargund village blocked Sopore-Kupwara road to protest water scarcity in their area.
They raised slogans against the department, and also threatened to intensify protests in case their problem is not resolved at an earliest.
Meanwhile, local PHE department assured that problem will be redressed soon.
