The students of Islamic University of Science and Technology(IUST) Awantipora held a protest on Monday against the detention of their mate.
Reports said scores of students protested on the campus demanding immediate release of Tasaduq Rashid Bhat.
Bhat is a student of mechanical engineering at the varsity, and had been reportedly arrested for his involvement in protests at the varsity.
Bhat along with his father Abdul Rashid is under detention.
