Complete shutdown was observed in Pulwama town for fourth straight day on Monday to mourn the recent militant killings in the district.
Last week five militants were killed in two separate gunfights with government forces in the district. At least 32 protesters suffered injuries when forces fired shot-gun ammunition to quell the protests.
The mobile internet service also remained blocked in the area.
Meanwhile, mourners continued to visit the families of slain militants to commiserate with them.
