Locals of Pattan town on Thursday appealed the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to quash the transfer order of Dr Riyaz Dagga from Sub District Hospital Pattan to Kalaroos Kupwara.
Locals said the Dr Riyaz has been victimized for not prescribing the medicines of some pharma companies.
They said after the pharma companies failed to motivate Dr Riyaz to prescribe their medicines. “These companies used their influence and got him transferred,” they added.
Locals said, “Dr Riyaz is people friendly, honest and a dedicated doctor. The government should quash his transfer order forthwith.”
“The said doctor always treats patients very carefully and has become an integral part of the Pattan town. We appeal Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to look into the matter and take strict action against the drug mafia active in the area and quash the transfer order of Dr Riyaz,” the locals said.
