Heavy rains and hailstorm on Friday damaged vegetable and agriculture produce in Khag area of Budgam.
Farmers said the rains and hailstorm in this month is harmful for agricultural production. Besides fruits like pears and cherries, farmers grow variety of vegetables in the month of May. Chief Agriculture officer Budgam, Shabir Ahmad Alaqband said that the intense hailstorm in this season can create massive damage to fruit and vegetable production.
