Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelan, in his message to the people on the eve of auspicious day of Eid-ul-Fitr, said this month-long training of utmost discipline and obedience should be reflected in rest of 11 months with similar fervour and zeal in both individual as well as collective life.
“This month is full of historical events where not onlytruth and falsehood, right or wrong confronted but biggest and mightiest eventin the history of not only Muslims but whole mankind took place, when holyQuran was revealed by Allah through His beloved prophet PBUH. This divine bookis guidance for the complete way of life and enlightens every sphere ofuniverse to be seen clearly by those who read it, understand it and practiceit, so that the person is not derailed from the straight path ofrighteousness,” Geelani said.
He said, “It (holy Quran) is a solution for every problem,be it politics, economy, individual or collective life, domestic or socialevents, family issues or national or international matters, rules and regulationsof war or contours of peace—it doesn’t leave anything un-attended. It teachesits believers where their abilities, their money, their sympathies, their voteand support and their interests and loyalties should get utilized. Itdiscourages and categorically opposes duality and double standard and doesn’tsupport divisions of life to be governed by different laws.”
He said, “The best and effective message of Ramadan andEid-ul-Fittr will be to strive for the cause.”
