Peoples Conference (PC) Chairman Sajad Gani Lone Monday urged the new entrants of his party to reach out to the people of Karnah.
A statement of PC issued here said that Lone said this while welcoming 25 workers from Karnah into party fold at a function at the PC headquarters. The statement said that Lone expressed hope that their inclusion would further help the party reach out to the people of Karnah, serve them and work for their betterment to the best possible extent.
It said Abdul Rashid Bhat, ex-Tehsildar and a prominent political activist from Karnah joined PC along with more than 25 noted political workers from the region.
The statement said that Bhat expressed his pleasure on joining Peoples Conference and pledged to work for serving the people as per the policies of the party.
“The people of Karnah have a long association with the Peoples Conference and its leadership. PC will emerge to become the strongest voice of the people of Karnah,” he said in the statement.
