Registrar KU expresses gratitude

Registrar, University of Kashmir, Dr Nisar A Mir, has expressed gratitude to all civil society members for their condolences over the demise of his brother M Afzal Mir, who passed away after a brief illness on 1 July, Monday, at DadsaraTral.

In a statement here today, Dr Mir said:  “I am very thankful to all my friends fromacademics and also from different fields who shared the pain and agony of ourfamily and came to visit in person to offer their condolences.

   

“At the same time I also express my gratitude to those whosent condolence messages on phone and through e-mail and social media.”

Dr Mir said he is especially thankful to the office bearers,executive body members and other members of Kashmir University TeachersAssociation (KUTA), Kashmir University Officers Association (KUOA), KashmirUniversity Ministerial Staff Association (KUMSA) and several other delegationsof University employees and delegations from other state departments and otheruniversities who personally visited the bereaved family at DadsaraTral.

Meanwhile people from different walks of life continued tovisit Dr Mir at his official chamber at the University as well at his privateresidence at NaseemBagh, to express their condolences.
