Nearly 2 lakh pilgrims have registered for the Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on Thursday.
An official spokesman said that Governor N N Vohra chaired a meeting here to review the registration of pilgrims for the annual pilgrimage. “As of now, 2,11,994 pilgrims have secured advance registration through the designated bank branches, group registration facility and through booking of helicopter tickets for the Yatra,” the spokesman added.
