Renzushah calls on Advisor Kumar

Chairman, Kashmir Society, Farooq Renzushah, Wednesday called on Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar here.

During the interaction, Renzushah put forth several issuesrelated to the development of the state, particularly Kashmir division.

   

“During the past 70 years, our forest treasure has beensqueezed. Consequently our precious glaciers have vanished. Besides, thepollution-level, both in Jammu and Srinagar, has alarmingly increased duringthe period,” he said.

He urged the Advisor to preserve Sufi shrines and heritagesites. “All such spots need to be identified and preserved,” he said.

The Advisor assured Renzushah that he would look into thedemands and suggestions.
