A retired army manwho was shot at by the militants in Bachroo village of south Kashmir’s Kulgamdistrict last night died on Monday morning, reports said.
Abdul Hameed Matooof Bachroo village of the district, had served in the Territorial Army.
A police officialsaid the militants fired upon Matoo at his native village around 9pm. Hereceived serious wounds and was rushed to SDH Qaimoh for treatment.
Doctors said he hadtwo bullet wounds and was referred to GMC Anantnag where from he was shifted to92 Base hospital in Srinagar.
Reports said thathe breathed his last at the facility today morning.
