A 55-year-old rice mill owner was crushed to death after he slipped into a conveyor belt fitted with the motor of the mill in Shahgund village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
Block Medical Officer, Hajin, Aijaz Ahmad said that Abdul Majeed Dar met with an accident after he slipped into the conveyor belt of his rice mill following which he was shifted to community Health Center (CHC) Hajin where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
As per Dr Tariq, who received Dar at the CHC, the mill owner had multi-trauma injuries due to which his internal organs were also damaged.
