National Conference on Tuesday said J&K administration’s wrong policies vis-à-vis land acquisition for Ring Road project has dealt a serious blow to farmers’ community in Budgam.
In a statement the party’s central zone President, Ali Muhammad Dar demanded that the government must issue fresh notification as compensation decided was very less and awards prepared were illegal.”
“How can the government prepare awards after a lapse of three-and-a-half years when the same has to be made in two years of time as per section 11 -B of JK Land Acquisition Act 1934 ” Dar said.
