RK correspondent’s death widely condoled

People from all walks of life Thursday condoled the demise of young Rising Kashmir’s Correspondent, Javid Ahmed, who died of a massive heart attack in a passenger vehicle on the way to Srinagar from his hometown Baramulla.

The Kashmir Press Club (KPC) expresses shock over the sudden and tragic death of its member and senior Correspondent of Rising Kashmir Javaid Ahmad.

   

The tragic death has left the whole fraternity pained. The management committee as well as club members remembered him as a thorough professional and an extremely humble person.

Javed suffered a massive heart attack near Hyderbeigh Pattan while travelling to Srinagar from Baramulla today. He was rushed to nearby Pattan Trauma Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) has condoled the sudden demise of Rising Kashmir’s correspondent.

In this connection, a condolence meeting was convened in DIPR complex Srinagar under the chairpersonship of Director, Information & PR, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar wherein deep sorrow and grief was expressed over the demise. The Director said that his death is a great loss to the media fraternity as the deceased played a leading role in highlighting the local public issues through his work. In this connection, a condolence meeting was convened in the office chamber of Joint Director Information Kashmir under the chairmanship of Haris Handoo wherein deep sorrow and grief was expressed over the demise. Joint Director Information Kashmir said in his address that his death is a great loss to the society as the deceased played a leading role in highlighting the local public issues in his outlet. He also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Among others, who expressed their condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family, including National Conference Provincial President, Nasir Aslam Wani, former minister, Imran Raza Ansari, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesman and Media Advisor to the Party President Syed Suhail Bukhari, former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil, and leaders from Peoples Conference, president EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam.
