The State Administration Council (SAC) on Wednesday appointed Dilbagh Singh as the Director General of Police of Jammu and Kashmir.
The decision was taken during SAC—the State’s top decision-making body headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik—meeting in winter capital Jammu today where Singh’s full-time appointment was finalized.
The governor’s administration had on September 6 appointed senior IPS officer Dilbag Singh as interim director general of police.
