People’s Conference chairman Sajad Gani Lone and its general secretary Imran Raza Ansari greeted people on the auspicious occasions of Nauroz and Holi.
Praying for peace, prosperity and harmony among thecommunities and regions, Sajad and Imran, according to a statement, said Naurozhas an important cultural and religious significance. They expressed hope thatthe day will herald a new era of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
The two leaders also congratulated people on the festival ofcolors—Holi.
“Holi represents hope, happiness and emotions,” they said,adding the festivals like Holi and Nauroz “connect people of diverse identitiesto fight every evil with love and compassion”.
