Authorities on Wednesday sealed a private school at Pulwama district for allegedly violating the government order to remain shut, amid Coronavirus threat.
According to an official statement, on the directions of theDeputy Commissioner Pulwama, Raghav Langer, a team led by Tehsildar, Pulwamainspected the Dolphin International School.
“The inspection was carried out after a complaint regardingthe over functioning of the school at Tengpuna and was found brazenly violatingthe government order. The Tehsidar sealed the school on the spot and said sternaction shall be taken against the school administration for violating thegovernment order” the statement said.
The chief education officer has lodged FIR under section 188against the school for violating the law.
The administration has advised the private schools,organizations and coaching centres to abide by the orders and advisories inthese unprecedented times so that the threat of COVID-19 can abated.
