Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Chitragam village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district late Friday night.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that door-to-door searches were launched in the village by the forces following inputs about the presence of militants there.
The operation comes barely a few hours after five militants were killed by the forces in a gunfight at main town Shopian.
