Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in North Kashmir’s Pattan village on Wednesday evening.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, 176 Bn CRPFand police launched a cordon and search operation at Khisipur area of Pattan.
Reports added that the whole area has been sealed bysecurity forces and house to house searches started.
A police officer said that the search operation has beenlaunched following inputs about presence of some militants in the area.
