Security forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Dooru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A source said the cordon was laid after receiving inputsabout the presence of militants.
He said the searches were jointly launched by the teams ofarmy’s 19RR & SOG in Mehmoodabad village of Dooru.
All entry points remained sealed and door to door searchescontinued for hours together.The operation was concluded after no militantwas found, said an official.
