Security forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Dooru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A source said the cordon was laid after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.
He said the searches were jointly launched by the teams of army’s 19RR & SOG in Mehmoodabad village of Dooru.
All entry and exit points have been sealed and door to door searches are on in the area.
