Security forces launched Cordon and Search Operations (CASO)in three villages of south Kashmir’s Anantnag, Kulgam and Tral districts onSaturday.
The operations were launched today morning in Semthan areaof Bijbehara in Anantnag, Nowpora Friday in Kulgam and Sofigund Tral in Pulwamadistrict, reports said.
An official said that the operations were launched followinginputs about the presence of militants.
Local witnesses said that security forces compromisingpolice, CRPF and army soldiers have been deployed in strength in these areas.
So far there has been no report of any contact with themilitants.
