A sentry of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) fired some shots in the air after noticing suspicious movement at a village in south Kashmirs Pulwama district on Friday evening.
A police official said that at around 7:25 pm a CRPF sentry of 183 battalion manning a bunker in Bellow village fired several shots in the air after observing some suspicious movement around the facility.
A local resident, however, told Greater Kashmir that the firing lasted for several minutes and caused panic among the residents.
