Seven cattle charred to death in nocturnal blaze in south Kashmir’s Tral

Srinagar Jun 5: At least seven cattle were charred to death after a nocturnal fire broke out in a cow-shed in Dodkolan area of Tral in this south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

News agency GNS reported that the fire broke out at around 2 am from the shed belonging to one Jumi Gujjar, son of Karim Gujjar.

   

The flames spread soon after, damaging the whole of the structure resulting in the charring down of seven cattle to death.

The cattle included five buffaloes and two cows, which got stuck inside and could not be timely rescued.

The cause of fire remains unascertained as of now.

In the meantime General Secretary Gujjar Bakkerwal Mohammad Yousaf Poswal and Sarpanch concerned Abdul Rasheed talking to GNS have unequivocally urged the administration to reach out the affect family for due compensation.
