President of J&K Peoples Movement Shah Faesal today called on Commissioner Secretary Tourism J&K and urged him to take up the survey work on Divar-Bumus-Nagmargi Cable Car Gondola project in Lolab Valley in north Kashmir.
“During a daylong visit to Divar Lolab Shah Faesal stressedon the need to create sustainable livelihoods in this far away region of thestate to bring people out of extreme poverty,” a JKPM spokesman said.
He said that Shah Faesal suggested that this Cable Carproject can prove to be a game changer in the area because it will increasetourist footfall in the area and create job opportunities there.
He assured the local community that the demand for thisproject will be vigorously pursued with the Government. He said JKPM will leaveno stone unturned to bring Lolab Valley on the world tourism map.
