Acute shortage of drinking water has been reported in various villages in Bandipora upper reaches.

A delegation of Tanghat, Panar Vawen and Bilal Colony met Deputy Commissioner Sajad Hussain and demanded supply of drinking water in these villages.

The DC ordered executive engineer to resume drinking water supply in these areas.

Ghulam Nabi of Bilal Colony told Greater Kashmir that 1200 families in the areas were suffering from drinking water shortage.
