Sonamarg-Drass road stretch along Srinagar-Leh highway remained closed for traffic for the second consecutive day on Friday.
The stretch was closed after twin landslides hit the road at two different spots. Due to the road closure, over 300 vehicles were stranded on it.
Officials said that men and machinery have been deployed to clear the road. They added road is expected to be cleared till afternoon today.
