Gun shots were heard in Qaimoh area in South Kashmir Kulgam district on Sunday afternoon after forces launched searches in the area.
Earlier today, army’s 1 RR, paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly carried search operation in the area.
The searches were carried after getting information about “presence of militants in the area”, reports added.
