MLA Ganderbal and National Conference district president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar expressed dismay over what he said the prolonged power curtailment in Ganderbal district.
In a statement issued here, he said, “Ganderbal area is facing unprecedented load shedding. The unscheduled power cuts have plunged the entire Ganderbal into darkness.”
“The frequent power cuts have affected the business community and students adversely,” he said. “It seems the PDD is following a set of unwritten rules after Darbar shifts to Jammu during winters. The prolonged power cuts in Kashmir seem to have become a norm,” he said.
“I appeal to the Governor administration to ensure that the district is spared of the painful power-cuts,” he said.
