The Srinagar Leh highway was opened for traffic on Thursday, after remaining closed for two days.
Officials said highway was opened at around 7:30 in the evening.
Following a massive landslide at Zojila pass near Shaitaninallah on Tuesday, traffic was suspended on the highway.
Superintendent of police Traffic (Rural) Muzaffar Shah said that massive landslide had blocked the highway, under which a truck had also got buried at Zojila pass.
Meanwhile, hundreds of stranded vehicles at Sonamarg and MinimargDrass from two days were allowed to move towards their destinations.
