Anantnag, Nov 24:BhartiyaJanta Party (BJP) J&K unit’s General Secretary Ashok Kaul Wednesday said that the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir would be restored soon.
Talking to media persons on the sidelines of a party meeting in Anantnag, Kaul said that Prime Minister NarendraModi and Home Minister Amit Shah had already assured that statehood would be restored after the situation becomes normal in J&K.
“I believe that the days are coming near when the statehood of J&K will be restored. As the situation is getting back on track, restoration of statehood is on the cards. The statehood will be restored soon,” he said.
Kaul said BJP’s district executive meeting was held at Anantnag to discuss the progress of the various programmes while future programmes were also discussed for strengthening of the party at the grassroots level.
He said that all the party workers and leaders support and work for the mission of the Modi government.
“We aim to take J&K along with the country to new horizons of development, peace, and prosperity. For making this mission come true, unification of all leaders and workers is a must so that we can serve the people with dedication,” Kaul said.
