Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi Saturday today hailed the steadiness shown by people during the ongoing uprising in Kashmir.
He condemned the killing of Waseem Ahmad Lone of Nadihal, Rafiabad area of Baramulla district saying "this has exposed the tall claims of restraint."
"Despite the ongoing uprising entering into 78th day, the people of Kashmir neither seem to be exhausted nor hopeless, which is glaring example that they are determined to take the ongoing movement to its logical conclusion," Reshi said.
Meanwhile, DPM chairman condemned the arrests of resistance leaders, activists and harassment of youth in Kashmir. The DPM spokesman, Yar Muhammad Khan, condemned the continuous detention of the party chairman and JKLF chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and shifting of party's chief coordinator, Shakeel Ahmad Bhat to Srinagar Central jail.
