Student protests against exams continue in Ganderbal

The students of class 10th and 12th from different schools in Ganderbal district staged anti-examination protests here on Friday.

Reports said that the students staged an anti- examination protest at Wussan area of the district. They said for appearing in examination they need conducive atmosphere.

The protesting students said that they would not appear in the exams in view of the prevailing unrest in the valley.

The protesting students said that the date-sheet has been issued despite the fact that students haven't completed even half their syllabus as the schools continue to remain shut in the wake of continued curfews and shutdowns since July 8.

"This is totally injustice with the students, how can we appear in exams when we even don't had completed half of our syllabus" a student asked.

The State Board of School Education has already scheduled the exam dates for both the classes from November 14.
