The students on Thursday held a protest in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district against the last weekend militant and civilian killings in Srinagar and Shopian districts.
Reports said the students of Government Degree College Sumbal held a protest on the campus.
They said that scores of boys and girls from the college assembled on the campus and took out a protest rally towards main square of the town, while raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Earlier, the students of the college offered funeral prayers in absentia for the slain militants and civilians.
