Students pursuing various courses in cluster university Srinagar on Thursday complained that the examination fee charged by the university administration was higher than the fee charged in other universities.
Students complained that the examination fee in Cluster University for various courses is Rs 1750 while as in other varsities it is only Rs 700 to Rs 900. “Being a government university, the examination fee for students should be comparatively less than what is charged in private colleges or universities,” the students said and appealed the university authorities to charge them less fee.
Vice chancellor Cluster University Srinagar, Sheikh Javaid Ahmad said they are following examination fee structure of Kashmir University and in some courses the students are charged less fee. “We are not charging more fees from students. It is the same as that of KU,” he said. GKNN
