Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik on Monday said "suppressive tactics adopted by forces cannot defeat valour and passion of Kashmiris to take the ongoing movement to its logical conclusion."
"After killing more than 90 innocents, injuring more than 20000 men, women, children and students, snatching the eye sight of more than 1000 people, vandalizing private property worth crores, arresting more than 10000 people, the anti-Kashmiri sadist mindset of Indian forces are yet not satisfied as they have started another old fashioned Mussolini style war tactic of burning down rice and fruit harvests of villagers in Kashmir. These crimes committed against Kashmiris may be directed from Delhi but are abetted by pro-India politicians of Delhi and Nagpur and their agents in Kashmir," JKLF spokesperson quoting Malik who is under arrest, said in a statement.
"Same kind of terror was unleashed by fascists like Mussolini against freedom seeking people of Libya and today India abetted by its agents in Kashmir is using same terror methodology but under the garb of so-called democracy to suppress Kashmiri freedom movement," he said.
"PDP rulers on daily basis come on TV and are often seen accusing small children being used in violence. One wonders that how can these people be such is such inhuman way. Why don't these people answer the cries of Insha who was hit by pellets inside her room? Don't they see fourth standard student Mohsen's condition in hospital who was beaten to pulp by their "brave soldiers" along with many other children while they were playing in a field? Malik asked.
"If these hypocrites and their masters in Delhi and Nagpur think that these kind of oppressive tactics will bring down Kashmiris to submission, they are living in a fool's paradise, oppression, suppression, tyranny and intimidations can establish a peace of graveyard temporarily but these can never defeat the valor, passion and will of a nation that has decided to challenge illegal occupation and is demanding its birth right to decide about its future," he added.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson said vice chairman JKLF, Bashir Ahmad Baht , vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi besides M.Yasin Baht were sent to Central Jail Srinagar.
