‘Swachhata Hi Sewa’: CRPF carries cleanliness drive at GMC

Under “Swachhata Hi Sewa” campaign, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Monday carried out a cleanliness drive at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H),  Jammu.  

The spokesman said that various Jammu based battalions and institutes of CRPF are carrying out extensive cleanliness drives in their respective  areas.

   

While speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent, GMC&H, appreciated CRPF for organizing such programs.

He said that if we keep ourselves and our surroundings clean and hygienic, it will directly make us feel energetic and invigorate us.  

He further said that on one hand, officers and personnel of 166 Bn CRPF are giving exemplary security services at GMC&H and on the other hand, by organizing such programs they are giving a noble and prosperous message to the society.

After administering ‘Swachhta pledge’ to doctors, officers and staff of the hospital, officers and personnel of CRPF and citizens present there, Nitu, DIG CRPF, Jammu Range, expressed gratitude towards officers and staff of GMC&H.

She said that by participating in such programs, a message has been given to the society.

While talking about the understanding between 166 Bn CRPF and GMC&H, Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Bn, reiterated commitment to remain associated with hospital in such noble causes.

Dr. Anusuya Jamwal, PO, Associate Hospital, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Assistant Medical Superintendent, Dr. Rajnish Kumar, Medical Record Officer, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Casualty Medical Officer of GMCH, Anil Kumar Second-in-Command of 166 Bn. CRPF and other personnel of GMCH and CRPF were present on the occasion.
