A teen was wounded after an unexploded grenade went off at the gunfight site in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Saturday.
The boy, identified as 18-year-old Vakil Ahmad Wagay, received splinter injuries in the grenade blast at Panzgam village of the district, said a police official.
He was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Earlier, SSP Awantipora Shridhar Patil had appealed to the people to desist from visiting the encounter site.
He warned that exploded ammunition might be littered around the site where three Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants died in gunfight in the wee hours today.
