Tehreek-e-Mazahmat (TeM) today expressed deep grief over the death of Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Illahi Bagh who was injured after being hit by a teargas shell on November 2.
A delegation of TeM led by its general secretary Muhammad Salim Zargar visited the bereaved family and expressed grief and extended condolences. Addressing the mourners said, Zargar said, "Despite all odds we will carry forward the movement to its logical end."
"New Delhi through its stooges is trying to crush our movement but history is witness that despite all repressive measures the people of state particularly the youth are up against all forms of subjugations and forced control," a spokesman of the TeM, in a statement today, quoted Zargar as having said.
He stressed upon people to exhibit persistence saying "we are guardians of sacrifices presented by our youth". Meanwhile, the spokesman, while paying glowing tributes to Ali Kadal martyrs, said, "We are duty bound to carry their mission till the dawn of freedom."
