Termination order of NHM employees revoked

The Mission Director of National Health Mission (NHM) J&K, has approved revocation of termination order of all those NHM employees whose services were terminated in February this year for being unauthorizedly absent from their duties.

Mission director NHM, Bhupinder Kumar, said that therevocation order shall be subject to condition that all such employees willsubmit an affidavit duly attested by Judicial Magistrate 1st class.

   

“All such employees shall not claim any remuneration for theperiod during which they have not rendered their services”, he added.

As per the details, all the NHM employees went on strike inFebruary to press for regularization of their services. The strike was observedin all over the state. Thereafter, different orders were issued by theconcerned in which all NHM employees were called to join their duties.  After there was no response, authoritiesterminated many employees across the state.

Pertinently, 217 employees were terminated in Kishtwar, 51in Doda, 65 in Reasi, 9 in Rajori and 8 in Poonch respectively against theirunauthorized absence from their duties.
