Srinagar Aug 31: Police on Wednesday claimed to have killed two terrorists in an encounter during which a civilian was also injured in Bomai Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
"Encounter has started at Bomai area of #Sopore. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow, " a police spokesman said.
"SoporeEncounterUpdate: 01 more #terrorist killed (Total 02). Search going on. Further details shall follow, " he added.
"The killed 02 terrorists were affiliated with JeM terror outfit. Identification is being ascertained. 01 civilian also received injury during the encounter & he has been shifted to Srinagar hospital where his condition is stated to be stable," ADGP Kashmir said in another statement.
