Three militants were killed in an ongoing gunfight with the security forces at a village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, reports said on Friday.
The gunfight broke out last evening after the forces launched a search operation in Panjran area of Lassipora, said an official.
Three militant bodies have been recovered along with as many weapons so far in the ongoing operation, news agency GNS quoted a senior police officer as having said.
The identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, he said, adding that a search operation is on at the site of the gunfight.
