A throat-slit body was found at Shivhad area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday, a police official said.
It was identified as that of 45-year-old Nizam Din Khan sonof Taj Mohammad Khan, a resident of Choontwad Panzgam, he said.
The deceased was farmer by profession, he said, adding thatthe body was taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
