The traffic on Sonamarg-Drass stretch of Srinagar-Leh highway was restored on Sunday morning hours after it had been temporarily suspended late Saturday evening due to slippery condition of the road.
Officials said the Zojila stretch of Srinagar-Leh highway had become slippery after it received season’s first snowfall.
About three inch snow had accumulated at Minimarag, Zojila pass and other places last evening.
