Tral Hajj pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest in Makkah
A woman Hajj pilgrim from Tral township of Pulwama district died of cardiac arrest in the holy city of Makkah on Thursday, taking the death toll of pilgrims from the Jammu & Kashmir to two.
The deceased pilgrim has been identified as Hameeda Begum, wife of Ghulam Ahmad of Laribal village of Tral. Begum, who was in Makkah with her husband to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, suffered a cardiac arrest on early Thursday, according to her family. She has been buried in Makkah Muazamah.
On Wednesday, a Haj pilgrim from Banihal region of Jammu died in a road accident in the holy city of Medina.
