Two Amarnath pilgrims injured in Kangan mishap

Two Amarnath yatris were injured after the bus they were travelling on met with an accident on Srinagar-Leh highway in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.

SHO police station Gund Syed Arif told Greater Kashmir that the bus (bearing registration number JK14C/ 2397) carrying pilgrims from Baltal to Srinagar skidded off the road and turned turtle at Ganiwan in Kangan, resulting in injuries to two pilgrims.

   

The injured were taken to trauma hospital Kangan for treatment where from they were referred to Srinagar for further check up.
