Two civilians injured in Kangan clashes shifted to Srinagar

Two civilians were injured during clashes with government forces in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.

Reports said that massive clashes broke out after a local youth injured in forces’ action yesterday succumbed at SKIMS today.

   

Two civilians, identified as Muhammad Amir Lone (22), son of Abdul Hamid Lone of Chatragul and Abdul Rashid Khan of Kangan, were injured in the clashes. Ten policemen also sustained injuries in the clashes.

The injured were rushed to trauma hospital Kangan where from Khan and Lone were referred to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla and SKIMS Soura respectively. 

Dr Feroz Ahmad, who treated the injured at trauma hospital Kangan, told Greater Kashmir that Khan has suffered a fractured arm while Lone has suffered a serious head injury.
