Two policemen were wounded on Friday afternoon aftersuspected militants lobbed a grenade at Sopore police station.
An official said that the grenade exploded outside the gateof the police station, leaving two policemen wounded.
Initial reports identified the wounded policemen as AbdulAziz and Ali Mohammad.
Reportedly, both have suffered splinter injuries.
They have been shifted to district hospital Sopore fortreatment.
